Change of leadership for Osprey Europe

He takes over this role from Rob Wylie, who founded Osprey Europe in 2003. The company distributes the brand’s products in 30 countries. He will leave at the end of March, working with Mr Petty in the interim to ensure a smooth transition.
"Rob Wylie is at the origin of the brand and its success, a success which has earned it the title of number one backpack brand in Europe, quite a remarkable performance. The legacy that he is leaving behind him is enormous," said Layne Rigney, president of Osprey Pack.
Mr Petty joined Osprey Europe in June 2017. He had previously held positions at Montane, Patagonia and Salomon.
The change of leadership takes place as parent company Osprey finalises its acquisition of Osprey Europe.
