Leading brands to attend OutDoor by ISPO exhibition

Preparations are continuing for the first OutDoor by ISPO exhibition, which is scheduled to take place in Munich from June 30-July 3.

The new trade show was unveiled in June 2018. It came about after the European Outdoor Group (EOG) selected Messe München as the new organizer of the exhibition, which had long taken place in Friedrichshafen, on the shores of Lake Constance.

Previous organiser Messe Friedrichshafen has since announced it will launch its own trade show from September 2019.

Messe München has said around 700 exhibitors from 36 countries have already registered to take part in the first OutDoor by ISPO. The list includes adidas Outdoor, Arc’teryx, Fjällräven, Keen, Patagonia, PrimaLoft and Vaude. 

The demand from exhibitors has encouraged Messe München to establish eight halls for the inaugural event, two more than it had originally planned 

As well as traditional outdoor activities like hiking and climbing, the organisers have said they will cater to those involved in water sports, mountain biking and trail running. Attention will also be paid to environmental technology and digital solutions.
