Live machinery demonstrations at Miami sourcing event

The 2019 Apparel Textile Sourcing Miami (ATSM) exhibition will now take place a week later than previously planned in order for the event to coincide with the city’s fashion week.

It will run from May 28-30 at the Mana Wynwood Convention Centre. This will be the second edition of the event, following its inaugural edition in 2018. It was launched following the success of a similar event in Canada.

As sportstextiles reported in October, ATSM is to double in size this year, with a greater number of sourcing partners, product categories and service providers. There will also be an in-depth seminar programme. 

New additions in 2019 include a pavilion dedicated to footwear, a technical textiles section and live demonstrations of state-of-the-art machinery. 

With regards to the seminar programme, each day of the show will have different focus topics. Topics to be covered include trade policy, trend forecasting and supply chain strategy.
