New fabric collection combines Tencel and polypropylene

Partner mills in Asia have produced the fabrics in a variety of constructions, colours and weights, which combine the qualities of the two fibres, which the two companies list as comfort, performance and sustainable properties.
Tencel fibres are derived from sustainably sourced wood and are produced using responsible processes. They are compostable and biodegradable and offer high levels of softness, smoothness, colour performance and moisture management.
For its part, CoolVisions dyeable polypropylene fibres are inherently hydrophobic, with the lowest moisture regain of any fibre, and dry very quickly. In addition, the dyeable polypropylene filament exhibits a lower specific gravity and higher yield than other textile fibres, offering more bulk, coverage and warmth for less weight.
