BCI certification for two new Coats products
Industrial thread manufacturer Coats has launched two new 100% cotton products. Known as Tre Cerchi Vero and Tre Cerchi Vero+, both have been certified by the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) as being made from sustainable raw materials. 

These two products are the latest additions to Coats’ range of sustainable threads. The range includes its EcoVerde collection, which features 100% recycled sewing thread.

As well as being BCI certified, Tre Cerhci Vero+ is Cradle to Cradle approved for the dyes and chemicals used to manufacture it. 

Unveiling these new products, Adrian Elliott, president of Coats’ apparel and footwear business, said: “As our customers strive to achieve their sustainability goals, we can support them by exploring innovative solutions and products which are independently verified as being made from sustainable raw materials.”
