VF names new supply chain chief

He takes over from Tom Glaser, who has left VF after 18 years to assume the role of chief operations officer of leathergoods group Tapestry, formerly known as Coach Inc.
Mr Bailey is in his second stint at VF. He initially joined the group in 1989, spending nearly 20 years in various manufacturing and operations management roles within its intimate apparel business. When this division was sold to Fruit of the Loom in 2007, he stayed on at the new owners to oversee the transition. He returned to VF in 2016 and was most recently in charge of global material procurement and product manufacturing.
Announcing Mr Bailey’s promotion, Steve Rendle, VF CEO, said: “Cameron is a long-time VF leader who has spent his entire career in manufacturing and global supply chain management roles.
