Ex-Athleta design lead joins Nylstar

Catalonia-based nylon yarn manufacturer Nylstar has announced Pamela Meyers as its new vice-president for design and product development.

Ms Meyers has more than 25 years’ textile industry experience and has worked for Macy’s, Tommy Hilfiger, Abercrombie & Fitch and Banana Republic. Her most recent role was with Gap Group sports apparel brand Athleta, where she led design for intimates, seamless and swimwear.

In this new role, she will design a new clothing collection for men and women made solely using Nylstar’s Meryl yarns.
