JRC-Reflex sets recycled materials goal

29/10/2019
Retroflective materials manufacturer JRC-Reflex plans to shift its entire production to fully recycled materials before 2023.

Continuing to increase the recycled content of its products, as the market shifts to sustainable materials, it has recently expanded its recycled ranges to include recycled polyester, recycled polyamide, recycled elastane and recycled glass microbeads.

CEO Celine Cugerone said: “The next step for our research and development teams is to introduce recycled polyurethane, but we have yet to find a way to do this while remaining in a reasonable price range.”

As JRC-reflex grows its recycled offerings in all of its ranges - including fabrics, trimmings and across its palette of colours - eight new colours will also be introduced in the company’s four-way stretch reflective fabrics.
