Charnos offers recycled hosiery range

Women’s hosiery brand Charnos Hosiery has introduced a new ‘RE, CYCLED’ range, certified by the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) system.

Each piece is produced using offcuts from the current hosiery production.

Charnos claims that it has cut manufacturing emissions by 80% and water consumption by 90%, through substantially reducing the production processes.

The collection features a sheer 15 and opaque 40 and 70 denier tights, and the company says it “allows the wearer to look after the environment without compromising their style credentials".
