Nike “anti-sneaker” unplugs with sensory drop-in midsoles

Part of Nike’s experimental N. 354 footwear line, the brand has released a mule-style shoe designed to help feet “unplug and disconnect”.
The shoe is called the Nike Offline, with designers pointing to the health benefits of humans “doing nothing” and saying it’s important for feet to do the same. Two sensory drop-in midsoles are interchangeable; one has a few “strategically-placed” nubs for a massage-like effect and the second has a “greater volume” nub pattern for a prolonged wearing throughout the day.
Exaggerated, exposed-foam padding in the tongue and an adjustable, cushioned strap as said to optimise comfort for the wearer.
