Ski apparel brand Fusalp has announced that it intends to open three new boutiques in China.

In a profile of the brand that the Financial Times published in November, Fusalp said it intended to open stores in Beijing, Shanghai and Hangzhou. This will take the company’s retail footprint to a total of 45 boutiques in 25 countries.

Sophie Lacoste, Philippe Lacoste and Alexandre Fauvet took control of Fusalp in 2014 and, together, they own 84% of the business. Siblings Sophie Lacoste and Philippe Lacoste are members of the family behind the Lacoste sports brand, while Mr Fauvet is a former managing director of Lacoste.
