New drop: Reebok x Victoria Beckham
Drop four of fashion designer Victoria Beckham’s creative collaboration with Reebok launched recently.
Each style has been vetted and worn by the designer herself, ensuring that her “vision of style, love of sportswear and many hours in the gym” is reflected in the collection, the press release said.
The collection features more body-conscious pieces than previous drops of the collaboration, in addition to “sharp yet subtle touches of branding”.
Also new for drop four is a ribbed element, designed to “evoke the trims on vintage pieces”. A down-filled thermal cropped puffer jacket (pictured) takes the collection into the outdoors.
Performance-level comfort is offered by seamless pieces, such as a crop top and leggings, knitted in one piece to avoid any seams “disrupting” a workout.
Accessories include a “utilitarian”, convertible tote bag-backpack, as well as the new mini bag (a “favourite of Victoria’s”) and a merino-blend neck warmer, gloves and beanie hat. Footwear features Mrs Beckham’s “updated” take on Reebok’s “archive” Rapide, Bolton and Dual Court sneakers.
“Reebok x Victoria Beckham is about clothes that make me feel confident, but that I don’t have to think too much about. I want true performance pieces for the gym, that have been thoughtfully and meticulously designed to be adaptable and to move with me for all facets of my life,” Mrs Beckham commented.
