Performance Days announces new event
The team behind the Performance Days events has announced a new exhibition, Functional Textiles Shanghai, which it intends to run in the Chinese city for the first time on September 28 and 29.
Performance Days is working with a local partner, Tengda Exhibition, to put Functional Textiles Shanghai on. It will take place at Shanghaimart, a venue attached to the Shanghai World Trade Exhibition Hall near Hongqiao.
The organisers say this space offers ample room for displaying fabrics from more than 100 exhibitors.
On making the announcement, general manager, Marco Weichert, said: “This is the result of many years of monitoring the Asian market and its increasing demand for curated, high-quality, sustainable offerings. We are convinced that the Performance Days concept, which we will adopt in Shanghai, will be well received by visitors and exhibitors.”
