New issue of WSA magazine out now

A digital edition of the latest issue of WSA magazine is available on the sportstextiles website now.

This first issue of 2021 carries in-depth articles examining industry developments that include improved performance properties in waterproof-breathable membranes, the benefits that regenerative farming can bring to the quality of wool, and the work going on to minimise the shedding of microfibres.

On environmental themes, we have some of the details that the H&M Foundation and the Hong Kong Research Institute of Textile and Apparel (HKRITA) have shared about their new ‘Planet First’ partnership, and Mammut’s determination to draw inspiration from the plight of glaciers in making its business and its products more sustainable.

We look at technology breakthroughs from Zozo and Aetrex for making sizing and fit better, from YKK and Houdini for connectivity, and from Craft for a special, ultra-distance running shoe.

Finally, our Dialogue section features this time a conversation with Julian Lings, senior sustainability manager for outdoor brands at VF Corporation.
