China is the first focus for Mizuno-Polygiene partnership

Sportswear brand Mizuno has begun a partnership with anti-odour technology provider Polygiene to make durable, high-performance activewear for the Chinese market.

Mizuno China autumn-winter 2021-2022 products, including sweaters, jogging bottoms and down jackets, will feature Polygiene Biostatic technology. The technology will provide the garments with protection against body odours by inhibiting the growth of odour-causing bacteria. This reduces the number of times a garment needs to be washed, giving the product a longer life, and saving energy, time and money.

Polygiene chief executive, Ulrika Björk, said the partnership with Mizuno could soon extend to other countries.
