Origin Materials’ technology platform turns wood residue into materials that reduce the need for fossil resources.
The process converts C-6 cellulose into building-block chemicals in one step. The process sequesters carbon, so the company describes it as “restorative”.
Rich Riley, co-CEO of Origin Materials, said: "Earning the USDA Certified Biobased Product label is a significant step in our mission to transition the world to sustainable, carbon-negative materials.
