Parent group of Odlo hires new CEO from Nike
Monte Rosa Sport, the parent group of the Odlo, Henri Lloyd and Janus brands, has announced Daniel Eppler as its new chief executive.
Mr Eppler joins the Switzerland-based group from Nike, where he was vice-president for sales and partnerships in Europe. He will take over from Knut Are Høgberg, who joined Odlo in 2015 and was the brand’s chief operations officer for three years before becoming its chief executive in 2018.
At the time of the announcement, Daniel Eppler said he was delighted to join “a solid team” and to have the opportunity to head up the group’s three brands.
He described Odlo, Henri Lloyd and Janus as “three authentic brands that have proved their capability in product innovation”.
He said he also liked the brands’ commitment to making most of their products in Europe.
