Chief product officer appointment at Puma

Sports brand Puma has appointed Maria Valdes as its new chief product officer. She will take up the role on January 1.
Originally from Chile, Ms Valdes has worked at Puma for more than 12 years. She is currently general manager of its Sportstyle business unit.
In her new role, she will continue to be responsible for Sportstyle and will add motorsport, teamsport, running, training, basketball and accessories to her brief. She will also oversee creative direction and the go-to-market strategy of the company.
