New partnership agreements for HKRITA in Japan
The Hong Kong Research Institute of Textiles and Apparel Limited (HKRITA) has signed two new partnership agreements.
Under the new agreements it will work with research partner Shinshu University and with industry partner Seiko Epson Corporation.
HKRITA signed the agreements separately, but both of its new partners have their headquarters in Nagano prefecture in central Japan.
Its relationship with Shinshu University began in 2013, when it started working with a dedicated Fibre Innovation Incubator at the Japanese instution. It renewed this agreement in 2018 and has now renewed it once again to take the partnership into its second decade.
It said its new partnership with the Seiko Epson Corporation will aim to advance research and collaboration in material recycling, HKRITA said.
