Deuter and Ortovox eye US growth with corporate move

Backpacks brand Deuter and outdoor brand Ortovox are expanding into a bigger US headquarters and warehouse space in Colorado.
Jonathan Degenhardt, managing director at both brands, which are owned by German company Schwan-StabiloOutdoor, attributed this growth to “pandemic-related trends” – with more people interested in accessing the outdoors.
He said: “We initially outgrew our warehouse facility four years ago and have expanded our footprint multiple times since 2020. This move will allow us to scale more efficiently in the US, and in turn, we will be able to bring product into the US market faster, improving our already highly rated customer experience.”
