Global suppliers at Cinte Techtextil China to more than double

Technical textiles and nonwovens trade show Cinte Techtextil China has announced that the total floor area booked by international exhibitors in advance of its next edition has already surpassed more than double that of its last fair, held in 2021 with participation from 366 suppliers from eight territories.
The next show will be held in Shanghai between September 19 and 21. Cinte Techtextil China did not take place last year, due to in-country covid restrictions.
Co-organised by Messe Frankfurt (HK), China’s Sub-Council of Textile Industry (CCPIT TEX) and China Nonwovens and Industrial Textiles Association, the event caters to companies ranging from upstream technology and raw materials through finished fabrics, chemicals and beyond. This year’s show also marks the return of the European Zone to its programme.
The list of confirmed exhibitors includes Swiss antimicrobial textile technologies developer Sanitized, Belgian metal fibre manufacturer Bekaert, Italian yarns producer Fil Man Made Group (FMMG), US maker of intelligent fibres, polymers and yarns Barnet, weaving machinery developer Picanol, German extrusion systems manufacturer Reifenhäuser, Chinese coated functional textiles producer Shanghai Shenda Kebao New Materials, plus more.
“The potential [of the Chinese market] is incredible,” commented plant manager for FMMG’s Suzhou-based business, Roberto Galante. “[Overseas] brands are known for their very high quality and while China’s industry has developed very well in the past few years, it still needs support from overseas brands. This fair is good for us, and we [take part] every year.”
