US sports company Nike has reported full-year revenues of $51.2 billion, an increase of 10% on the year previous.

The business brought in $12.8 billion for the final quarter, up 5% versus the comparative period. Its Nike brand saw growth of $12.2 billion, representing a year-on-year (YOY) rise of 5%.

President and chief executive, John Donahoe, said the results were evidence that its strategy was working, describing the last fiscal year as a milestone. “Our investment in innovation and our digital leadership are fuelling broad-based growth across our portfolio of brands."

Converse, meanwhile, declined by 1% YOY to $586 million. Double-digit increases in Asian markets were offset by lower sell-through in Europe.
