Northern Lights inspire new Terrex collection
Adidas’s outdoor and sports clothing and footwear brand Terrex has joined forces with media company National Geographic to launch a new collection that has the Aurora Borealis, the Northern Lights, as its inspiration.
The 25-piece collection comprises high-performance trail and hiking wear, with an aesthetic that brings the Northern Lights to mind.
There are, for example, limited-edition versions of Terrex softshell and fleece jackets that replicate patterns of fluorescent greens and blues from images of the Northern Lights that National Geographic photographers have shot.
Senior product director, Nadia Svensson, commented: “We’ve captured the beauty of this phenomenon in fresh ways across a collection that we hope will inspire adventure-seekers.”
