Terrex selects PrimaLoft for Red Dot-winning jacket
Adidas Terrex, the outdoor brand of the German company, has won a Red Dot Design award for its PrimaLoft Loose Fill Hooded Jacket.
The insulation is strategically placed on the jacket and made with 100% recycled polyester.
Susanne Capell, category director for Adidas Terrex, said design plays an important role for adventurers. “We wanted to create a product that offered premium insulation and lightweight versatility without compromising on style," she added.
The Red Dot jury described the jacked as defying all weather conditions. “It surprises with its light weight and innovative insulation layer,” they said.
Alongside the jacket, adidas is also launching the Trailmaker 2.0 Gore-Tex in new colourways. The shoes feature a Gore-Tex membrane and a Continental Rubber outsole.
