Vibram Sphike ‘exclusive’ for Goods & Services
Footwear company Goods & Services, based in Los Angeles, has added performance outsole manufacturer Vibram’s Sphike trail-running sole to its roster of custom resoling options produced by the Italian soling supplier.
Goods & Services specialises in what it calls “footwear reengineering”, involving revamps, repair work and one-of-a-kind bespoke shoe designs. Sporty trainer uppers welted to a Vibram rubber sole using traditional techniques have become something of a signature for the business, founded by Rory Fortune in 2016, in recent years.
The Sphike has “excellent grip for all types of terrain, even slippery surfaces", according to the firm, meaning it fits most shoes, especially fan favourites like New Balance runners and Visvims.
