Naia Renew to host T2T recycling Q&A at TE conference
Event sponsor Naia Renew is due to hold a Q&A session on molecular textile-to-textile (T2T) recycling at the annual Textile Exchange (TE) conference in London on October 26.
The fibre brand, owned by Eastman in the US, is manufactured from 60% wood pulp and 40% waste material, such as recycled plastic.
Available at scale as either a filament yarn or a staple fibre, Naia Renew blends well with both natural and manmade cellulosics, including modal and lyocell, as well as recycled polyester.
A founding member of the Alliance of Chemical Textile Recycling under the Eastman banner, Naia presently aims to allocate at least 25% of its recycled content to textile waste by 2025.
“We’re transforming what a fibre can be and do to meet the sustainability demands of our customers,” commented general manager of Eastman’s textiles division, Ruth Farrell.
The Q&A session will take place between 2 pm and 3 pm.
Find the Naia team at booth 121 until October 27.
