Alpha SV headlines Arc’teryx Museum in Shanghai
Outdoor label Arc’teryx kicked off its ‘Evolution of the legendary Arc’teryx Alpha SV jacket’ exhibition at the Arc’teryx Museum in Shanghai with a talk between athlete He Chuan, writer Xu Zhiyuan, free climber Fu "Snail" Yongpeng and Piolets d’Or judge and award-winner Yannick Graziani.
Doors opened to the museum in January. Situated on Nanjing West Road, the location marks the Canada-born concept’s first permanent global outpost.
Organised alongside UCCA Lab, a branch of Beijing-based institution UCCA Center for Contemporary Art, the show offers something of a deep dive into the history of the alpinism-hewn jacket and runs until March 15.
British Columbia-headquartered Arc’teryx expects to launch its first internally developed shoe line in March.
