New cohort of ten innovators for Fashion for Good programme

Sustainability-focused innovation hub Fashion for Good has named ten new businesses that will become part of its programme.

Some of the names, including yarn developer HeiQ AeoniQ and fibre producer Nanollose, will be familiar to readers of sportstextiles.

Others on the list are developer of materials from algae and other biobased sources Algreen, biodegradable outsole materials innovator Balena, polyamide recycler Epoch Biodesign, dyeing technology provider Fibre52, fibre developer Gencrest, footwear materials recycling specialist Regeneley, fibre recycler Samsara Eco and blended fibre producer SEFF. 

“We are thrilled to unveil this year’s cohort of ten new innovators for our programme,” said Fashion For Good managing director, Katrin Ley. “These ground-breaking technologies epitomise our steadfast commitment to embedding new technologies within the fashion industry.”
