Fresh funds for enzymatic recycling start-up

Earlier this year, the biotech had received a £500,000 as part of a new pilot investment programme led by Innovate UK.
The London-based company was founded in 2021 and has developed what it said is a highly efficient enzyme-screening platform to identify those that can break down plastics to their constituent building blocks, and particularly blended textiles.
Evoralis said that major fashion retailers have engaged it to focus specifically on nylon and polyurethane-based materials.
