The 2024 Ski Industry Climate Summit will take place at ISPO in Munich on December 2 and 3.

This event is organised and hosted by Austria-based ski brand Atomic and by snow sports community group Protect Our Winters (POW).

“It is important to continue the conversation about climate protection in the ski industry,” said Atomic company president, Wolfgang Mayrhofer. “Our brand has its roots in the Austrian Alps, so we see the effects of climate change on our industry at first hand.”

He said the summit would serve as a platform for discussing challenges and for industry players to work together on solutions. He said this was the only way can to make the winter sports sector “a model for sustainability”.
