Scandinavian design awards revealed
The Scandinavian Outdoor Group revealed its award winners today at Ispo, currently on in Munich. The season’s overall winner went to Finnish outdoor brand Halti for its 1976 Parka Jacket. The jury commended its “durable, repairable and future-minded” make that embodies the best of Scandinavian design. It features 700 fill power recycled down supplied by Untavia and cleaned using a waterless CO2 process.

The sustainability award went to Mini A Ture’s smart and versatile all-season outerwear designed to protect kids from cold and rain and be passed on. The jackets and overalls are backed by a ten-year guarantee, and will be made from recycled fishing nets from InResSt, from Fall 2026 on.

Devold of Norway picked up the innovation prize for its two-in-one 3D-knit merino base layers. One side of the Reverso knit is engineered for warmth, the other for moisture transfer and high-intensity use.

Reima’s Reimatec Waterproof Finlander Winter Boot won the lifestyle award and Lundhags’ Myrk Insulated Pull-On Boot took home the True Scandinavian prize.
