New owner for Tersus Solutions

Originally called CO2Nexus and backed by Patagonia, Tersus develops waterless cleaning solutions for three main market applications. The CO2-based technology is used to clean down for recycling, and is said to preserve the delicate plumes. The company has invested in various cleaning and refurbishing services for recommerce platforms and offers solutions for brands' excess inventory and returned goods. In the workwear sector, the company provides cleaning solutions for fire departments and manufacturers of firefighter gear that remove carcinogenic contaminants and extend the life of the PPE equipment.
Promus Capital Management has said that it intends to support continued growth at Tersus and plans to expand its CO2 machines capacity.
Since its establishment in Colorado in 2009, Tersus has worked with Patagonia, Downlite, REI, the Renewal Workshop and The North Face.
