Recover prepares next stage with new co-CEOs
Recover, the maker of mechanically recycled cotton yarns has announced the appointment of two new co-CEOs. Enes Adak, who is currently in charge of Recover’s product, commercial and operations functions, takes on the new position alongside Fehmi Yüksel, who is the company’s head of finances. Prior to joining Recover, Mr Adak has held senior roles at Li & Fung and Forever 21, and has worked in Asia, Europe and the United States. Mr Yüksel was formerly at McKinsey & Company.
“Our priority is to strengthen partnerships across the industry, accelerate the adoption
of recycled cotton at scale, expand our global platform, and continue building a business that creates long-term value for customers, shareholders and partners,” commented Mr Yüksel.
Recover has established a global production network and works with some 100 supply chain partners. Recover recycled cotton fibre was present in more than 200 million garments last year, the company said.
