More brand collaborations for Cordura

Invista’s Cordura brand has said there is a “continued momentum” of brands adopting its fabrics as it promotes its latest offering, Combat Wool.

It highlighted Reebok, Timberland, Thule, Black Diamond, and Levi’s as using the product for in new collections of training shorts, skateboarding jeans and backpacks.

“These latest product adoptions showcase the wide ranging versatility of our brand. The durable functionality is what consumers are looking for in crossover lifestyle and outdoor apparel that is long-lasting and stylish,” said Cindy McNaull, brand and marketing director.

Combat Wool, a Merino and nylon blend, has been used by Taiwanese mill Chia Her for baselayer and mid-layer knits, stretch woven and lightweight non-stretch woven, while US-based Burlington has launched woven fabrics in twill, canvas, ripstop, dobby and stretch constructions.
