10 additions to AAFA board

The American Apparel & Footwear Association has announced 10 editions to its board: six elected members who will serve for three years and four appointed members to fill unexpired terms.

“AAFA’s board members play a critical role in setting the direction of the association,” said AAFA CEO Juanita Duggan. “In the coming year, our board will be involved in key issues such as our strategic planning, membership, policy and efforts to elevate the AAFA brand.”

The new members are: Robert Campbell; CEO of BBC International; Leslie Gallin, president of FN Platform; Paul Grangaard, CEO of Allen Edmonds Shoe Corp; Jeff Howald, chief financial officer at Camuto Group;  David Miller, CEO of Minnetonka Moccasin Company; Karen Kyllo, a deputy vice-president at SGS Consumer Testing Services; Lisa Bate, CEO in the Americas of Bureau Veritas Consumer Products; Michael Binnie, president of Dickies North America; Mike Faircloth, president of Hanesbrands; and Ed Manburg, CFO at Byer California.

“Serving on the board requires a commitment of personal time, and I would like to thank the board members who are stepping down for their contributions,” Ms Duggan added.
