New Balance CEO to lead revamped AAFA board

The American Apparel & Footwear Association has announced the board members who will serve a three- year term from April 1, 2016 to March 31, 2019.

Robert DeMartini, CEO of New Balance Athletics, continues as chairman with Paula Zusi, an operating adviser at Advent International, as his deputy.

Thomas Glaser, a vice-president at VF Corp, will act as treasurer with Gary Simmons, CEO at Gerber Childrenswear, as secretary.

The other board members are:
• Mala Brindisi, executive vice-president of supply chain at Spanx
• Thomas Chubb, CEO of Oxford Industries
• Richard Darling, director of government and public affairs at Li & Fung
• Kellie Davies Brown, a director at Target
• Abbey Doneger, CEO of The Doneger Group
• Allan Ellinger, senior managing partner at MMG Advisors
• Al Gervais, chief operations officer at Marc Fisher Footwear
• Edward Gribbin, president of Alvanon
• Bernard Leifer, CEO of SGFootwear
• Ed Manburg, chief financial officer at Byer California
• Michael Mansh, president at Pennsylvania Apparel
• Bruce Munro, CEO at Munro & Company
• James Schwartz, CEO of MGF Sourcing, and
• Paula Zusi, Global Operating Advisor - Retail Supply Chain, Advent International Corporation
