The RSL is free and has been downloaded more than 100,000 times. Editions are also available in Chinese, Vietnamese, and Spanish.
“AAFA created the RSL over eight years ago in response to the growing need to keep track of international and national regulations restricting use of certain chemicals in our products,” said Juanita Duggan, CEO of AAFA.
AAFA also offers an online tool called the Voluntary Product Environmental Profile, designed to assist the apparel and footwear industry to exchange environmental and chemical management information with their partners along the supply chain.
