Italy doubles textile machinery exports to Vietnam
Italy’s textile machinery makers exported €30 million of machinery to Vietnam in 2014 – 97% more than in 2013.

Industry association ACIMIT said it is one of the most promising markets as manufacturers look to upgrade technology in light of potential benefits that might be afforded by the Transpacific Partnership.

ACIMIT and the Italian Trade Agency will hold workshops on Italian textile technology in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, from 14 to 17 April 2015.

ACIMIT said: “Italian companies are eager to cooperate in this process thanks to the long tradition of partnership with Vietnamese textile companies.”
