Senior staff changes continue at Columbia

Columbia Sportswear has announced two senior appointments.

Richelle Luther has been promoted to senior vice-president and chief human resources officer after working as deputy general counsel since 2008.

She will be responsible for attracting and developing talent to support the company’s portfolio, which includes Columbia, Sorel, Mountain Hardwear, prAna, Montrail and OutDry.

Columbia has also promoted of David Brulé as general manager of the company’s Canadian subsidiary, based in Ontario, Canada.

He succeeds Dave Van Trigt, who served as manager of Canada from 2012 until his untimely passing earlier this year.

Mr Brulé was previously senior vice-president of Green Earth Stores and served for 11 years as director of retail for Reebok Canada.
