Pentland scoops Cordwainers award

UK-based outdoor group Pentland has won the IPA 2015 Cordwainers Award after inviting students to meet its design teams.

Pentland creative director Katie Greenyer said of the London College of Fashion: “The infectious enthusiasm for design makes the University a wonderful place for me to visit and be inspired. Working with graduates is always a mutually beneficial experience - it’s not just about supporting young talent and offering placements but also for us to learn from them.”

Pentland Brands includes Berghaus, Boxfresh, Brasher, Butterfly Twist, Canterbury, Ellesse and Hunter.

Kurt Geiger and Dune were highly commended in the awards.
