Microban to relaunch global textiles division

Antimicrobial specialist Microban has announced plans to relaunch its textiles division globally in August. The company will debut its new branding, including a new logo and tagline, at the Outdoor Retailer Summer Market (August 3-6) in Salt Lake City, US, where it is also showing fabrics that are treated with its odour capture and antimicrobial technologies alongside products that are not.

As part of the relaunch, Microban will introduce a “complete brand refresh”, which includes the launch of a new website in October and revamped marketing teams for its brand partners. It also plans to add experienced apparel industry figures to its product and sales team.

"We are relaunching the textiles division because the global marketplace is changing dramatically," said Pablo Perella-Berdun, president of Microban. "Consumers are demanding more from their apparel and accessories and how they perform during strenuous conditions or extended wear.”
