Nylstar may restart production this month

Sportstextiles.com reported in July that the Girona-based company has taking steps to lay off nearly 200 workers due to financial difficulties.
According to local media reports, it has now paid its workers the salary they are owed, settled its debts with suppliers, as well as those with government departments.
Representatives of Nylstar’s workers, who were reportedly taken by surprise at the decision, have expressed their concern over the move, highlighting uncertainty over the funds available to the company and the proposed output of 50 tonnes when the factory restarts production, which they say is insufficient.
