Isbjörn claims three-layer construction first in children’s outdoor clothes
Swedish outdoor brand Isbjörn has claimed that it will be the first company to put a three-layer construction into outdoor garments for children when it launches its Expedition hard-shell jacket and trousers collection for autumn-winter 2017-18.

The construction comprises a high-performance membrane, which is bonded to the outer material and a comfortable inner lining.

Made from bluesign-approved fabric, the high-performance waterproof membrane has a water column of 15,000 millimetres and ventilation capability of 15,000 grammes per square-metre per day. The outer material has Rudolf Chemie’s Bionic Eco Finish durable water-repellent functionality.

Expedition is due to appear in shops in September 2017.
