Former employee returns to Rossignol

Ski brand Rossignol has appointed Francois Goulet as the new president of its North America division. He will take up the role on July 17.

He replaces Ron Steele, who is retiring from the position. Mr Steele will continue at Rossignol until September 2018 in an advisory capacity. He will then retire completely after 40 years at the company.

Mr Goulet returns to Rossignol after seven years away. He was most recently vice president and general manager of the Americas division of VF-owned brand The North Face. He left Rossignol in 2010, having spent more than 20 years at the brand.

“Our North American Group is well poised to take the next steps in growth and the timing is right to make this transition,” Mr Steele explained. “This will allow the next President to see upcoming projects to completion successfully.”
