Archroma agrees textile research partnership

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the two parties. The cooperation will last for an initial five-year period.
Archroma and MUET will conduct research into textile dyes and how smart methodologies could be used in the processing of them.
As part of the agreement, MUET students will also be able to access training programmes at Archroma’s centre of excellence in Karachi.
Mujtaba Rahim, CEO of Archroma Pakistan, said: “Through this initiative of mutual cooperation, we will be able to share the latest knowledge and technical developments with the research team of MUET, and strengthen scholarly collaboration between MUET and Archroma.”
For his part, Dr Mohammad Aslam Uqaili, vice chancellor of MUET, added: “This partnership is going to have far-reaching impact in research projects which will bear highly positive results for MUET and Archroma. Our academic team is very enthusiastic on the mutual collaboration and look forward to interesting research outcomes.”
