Woolmark and adidas throw down the design gauntlet

The Woolmark Performance Challenge winner will be awarded a cash prize of €10,000 and a three-month internship at adidas.
Adidas senior design director Tillmann Studrucker said: "This gives creative students the chance to help shape the future of sport and sports culture. I am looking forward to a lot of creative designs that consider sustainability with material innovation ideas that blend performance and style, past and future."
Students can find out more and submit their entries at the Woolmark Performance Challenge website until May 25.
Last week, we reported price of wool climbed 30% in 2017 on the back of increased use in knitted sneakers and garments, according to Australian Wool Innovation (AWI), which represents 24,000 growers in the country.
