Adidas updates Copa football boot for 2019

The product was first released in 1979 and was famously worn by players at the 1982 FIFA World Cup in Spain.
Adidas has described the Copa70, named in honour of the company’s anniversary, as “a living embodiment of the adidas principle of ‘authenticity to progression’”.
It retains the silhouette of the original version, but with the addition of a number of the company’s latest innovations and technologies. A Primeknit upper on the outside of the boot is complimented by a leather lining, blending old and new into one product.
Aesthetic features of the Copa70 include red studs and the original bluebird logo on the tongue.
