Fashion Revolution offers free course to ‘educate on supply chains’
Non-profit organisation Fashion Revolution has launched a free online course for people "wishing to learn more about the fashion industry’s impact on people and planet".

Sarah Ditty, policy director at Fashion Revolution, said: “You’ll learn about global fashion supply chains, how they work and how they can have a more positive impact on people and planet. You’ll tackle the issue of gender equality, women’s empowerment and how it links to the clothes we wear and decent work and economic growth. You’ll leave knowing more about what this means in the global fashion industry and what we can do to support good working conditions.”

The 4-week course features contributions from Greenpeace, Ellen MacArthur Foundation, UNICEF and the Fairtrade Foundation.

Fashion Revolution describes itself as a “global movement that runs all year long”: “We celebrate fashion as a positive influence while also scrutinising industry practices and raising awareness of the fashion industry’s most pressing issues. We aim to show that change is possible and encourage those who are on a journey to create a more ethical and sustainable future for fashion.”
