Unifi appoints executive vice-president

Textiles solutions provider Unifi has appointed Craig Creaturo as executive vice-president and chief financial officer. 
 
Mr Creaturo recently served as chief financial officer and vice-president of administration of Chromalox, a thermal technologies manufacturing company. 

Prior to that he served as chief financial officer of engineering company II-VI Incorporated.
 
Unifi’s president, Tom Caudle, said: “I am confident that Craig will complement our leadership team and that we can leverage Craig’s extensive knowledge and skillset, which will be paramount in advancing our strategic initiatives and driving improvement in our domestic and international operations.”
 
Christopher Smosna, who served as interim chief financial officer, will continue in his role as vice-president and treasurer. 

“On behalf of everyone at Unifi, I would also like to thank Chris for his service as the interim CFO. We look forward to continuing to benefit from his expertise,” Mr Caudle added.
