Santini and 66 North among Apex 2020 winners
Santini, Supreme and 66 North are among winners of the annual Apex awards, organised by US-based textile maker Polartec to celebrate brands using its materials in the most creative ways.

The winners are:

66 North’s Sudureyri NeoShell Coat - cut from NeoShell, Polartec’s most breathable waterproof fabric technology

Burton women’s Baker Hi-Loft Pants - made from a hybrid construction of High Loft fleece and Power Stretch Pro fabric

Griffin Reversible Bomber Jacket (pictured) - made from Thermal Pro fleece and Woolrich Buffalo Check wool

Gulch Inceptor Insulated Vest - made from Alpha Direct active insulation, eliminating the need to add layers during start-stop activity

Indygena Pecora - made of Shearling fleece for its warmth and breathable comfort

Karpos Miage Jacket - primarily made with 90g Alpha Direct active insulation, and Power Stretch Hardface fleece on the under arms, side panels and hem for improved fit

K-Way Cloto Skirt/Atropo Pant/Claude Jacket/Andersen Pant/Hans Crew Neck - made of Thermal Pro fleece

October’s Very Own OVO Power Stretch Zip Hoodie/Pant/Balaclava - made of Power Stretch Pro fleece with four-way stretch and abrasion resistance 

Santini Official UCI Rainbow Casual Jacket - using Power Air fabric, providing warmth and comfort with recycled yarn which is knit in a construction that dramatically reduces the shedding of microfibres

Snow Peak Flexible Insulated Cardigan/Pullover/Shirt/Pants - made with Alpha insulation for lightweight, breathable warmth

Supreme Polartec Overalls – made with Polartec 200 Series fleece for its functionality

Xenith Under the Lights Delta Short Sleeve - made with Delta cooling fabric, which disperses perspiration, reduce cling and eases airflow for evaporative cooling.
